i'm back

Just got home from Boracay. The weather wasn't cooperating with us. It was raining and cold. Wasn't able to catch a tan at all but the weekend still was something to remember. I'll tell you why later.

Could it be true? there have been rumours going around the metro that big Swedish fashion retailer H&M will be opening their doors at our shores soon. I really don't know if it's true or not. Business is becoming more cut throat now as European brands started opening their stores here. Speaking of cheap & chic stores. I wonder if a real Forever21 would open here soon. Hopefully they would as they've stores at Singapore, Malaysia & Indonesia already. Surely the Philippines must not be far behind?

I went jewelry shopping with the boyfriend today. I chose a really nice gold & pearl set. Well I haven't got it yet coz we just met up with the jewelry designer today. But I'm very excited to get it. It's quite unique and funky. i have a huge feeling my mum won't like it very much as it's not your ordinary jewelry that mother likes. Hahaha.

I recently heard the news that boybands are currently reuniting for another go at their stardom. This made me think about how some people are inspired and influenced (in terms of dressing) by the music they listen to. Well, to tell you the truth I am not really one of these people. To begin with I am not really much of a music fan. I mean how one be influenced by cheesy boyband songs? Yes, I do admit I am a huge fan of boybands. I just ♥ them! I've been a boyband fan since I could remember. New Kids on the Block? Check. Take That? Yup. Boyzone? A huuuuge fan. Backstreet Boys? Uh huh. N'sync? I love them. Westlife? Yes. F4? Hotties! Hahaha. I still have their songs in my ipod and I can still dance some of their dance moves. I never really did out grew my love for boybands. So sue me for having horrid taste in music. I'm not ashamed to say it.

Today is the birthday of one of my closest friends. We're suppose to surprise her this morning but being me I arrived at the venue late. So I wasn't able to surprise her! Sigh. At the middle of the day I took off my jacket and substituted it with a vest. Summers are too hot to be wearing jackets if you're not indoors with air conditioning. Hahaha!

Last night I remembered that I bought these cheapo vintage glasses at a summer bazaar a couple years ago. I went looking for it and found them. Hahaha. I took the glasses out because they were scratched out like hell. Looking at these pics I look like someone from the 70's. It's so cool!
