Spring/Summer sale season has started. I went to check out the Zara sale today. I was able to get a couple of items. Well, I wasn't able to get to buy many because it seems like all the small sizes are gone. And well I haven't got much money to spend either. Hahaha.

engagement ceremony - check!

Okay so my engagement ceremony is done & over with. Good thing that the weather cooperated with us a bit. The rain didn't pour until after the party which I think is a blessing as it's a garden party. So I haven't got any photos to post of the party yet. I don't have my copies from our photographer. I'll post pictures when I get the cd. Now that the engagement is done I will start worrying about the wedding preparations soon. We still don't have an exact date for the wedding yet. We are still waiting for the feng sui master to give us possible dates for our wedding.

something random

You know what? I really do think to be able to maximize your wardrobe one need to be able to see ones clothes. I mean if you can't find your clothes because it's somewhere deep in that clothes pile in your messy room then it's a useless thing. This is what I am feeling right now. I seriously need to clean up my room better yet I need to get a bigger wardrobe (I wish!!!) so I could hang all my clothes. I'm tired if searching for the floral dress I got last year or the trouser jeans I wanted to wear today.

i think i'm getting there

I went to the engagement party of my friends, Jasper & Veronica today. We were not allowed to go to the actual engagement ceremony because we are also having our engagement ceremony soon (this Saturday!). In Chinese customs it is not advisable for other engaged couples to attend the ceremony to prevent the "tug-of-war" of good luck. We do have quite a bit of weird customs & traditions that we need to follow. I'll let you in on those next week after my engagement ceremony. ;)

a wedding celebration

Attended a wedding today of two friends who have been dating for almost 15 years! And in a long distance relationship almost quarter of that time. Paul is in Vancouver, Canada and Dianne is in San Fransisco, USA. Imagine that! They finally tied the knot today. The placed was jam packed!!! And it was really fun as the host is another good friend of ours who is really hyper & wacky person. I love going to weddings. It's one reason to dress up really pretty and I love checking out the dresses too!

This morning my mum, sister & I went to look at this house near our current home. We are planning on moving into a new home if the owners of the house we looked at would agree to my parents request. The house we looked at is humongous! It got a library and some hanging vine garden. My sister & I liked the place 'coz it meant that we'll get to have our own rooms! Hahaha. Own rooms means more closet space for me as I don't have to share my closet with my sister. Well, let's just wait and see how things would turn out but I really do hope that they'll agree to our requests.

So I am home alone this Friday night. The boy went to a bachelor party. I'm suppose to have dinner with the girls but I have no way to get to the restaurant. So yeah, I'm stuck at home on a Friday night which sucks. I was even looking forward on eating my fave baby backs ribs! Oh well, I'll just drag the boy there tomorrow I guess.

The bf & I went to the mall to buy some fabrics needed for our engagement ceremony. I got myself this really nice red & black checkered silk fabric that I'm planning on having made into a ball gown. I won't be able to get the fabrics made into dresses until we get married though. :/
