Saturday:
Something really casual for a Saturday. The fiance & I went to pay the 50% down payment for our wedding reception venue. After that we just went around the mall to get me a new mobile because my old one is really dying on me. Good thing my mum gave me money. I bought a Nokia 2630. I was looking for a pink coloured one but almost all are either out of stock or way beyond my budget. :S

Sunday:
We had a hairdresser come to the house today for a house call. I had my fringe trimmed into a full one. I’ve been missing my old full bangs. :) So there you go a new haircut for myself. What do you think of it? It's somewhat my last haircut because i need to have my hair long for my wedding next year.

I went to watch a play (Mulan) with my sister. It’s for charity. I guess in some ways it’s something I can give back to the society in my little way.

I whipped out the camera and took pictures of the shoes I got from my trip. I know that they may not be the best quality shoes but I like them that way. I still don't have that much money to spend on designer goods. I mean who would complain on getting a US$12 pair of trendy shoes that you'll probably get tired of wearing in a couple of months? Hehehe. Not me! I'll splurge when I get to earn heaps loads of money.

I really really do love & adore shoes. I have the tendency to buy them more than I buy any other fashion items. i know I only have 2 feet. But I can't help it. Shoes are my love. They are so pretty to look at though even sometimes they hurt like hell. Hahaha.

for the love of sarouel pants

Thank goodness that I can find sarouel pants (harem style aka the MC Hammer pants) again! There are loads right now at Zara. I got the dear fiance to buy me 2 pairs today. So far I have 4 pairs not counting my 2 old ones I got loooong time ago in Hong Kong (though those are missing... I reckon got eaten by my wild & messy closet. Hehehe.)

As you might have noticed I've been gone for a week. Well I was in China for a conference and it was so tiring. As soon as I get in my room I hit the sack. I haven't got much to say really. monday monday can't trust that day

It's a national holiday today here in The Philippines. Our president likes to move holidays that are squished in the middle of the week to either Monday or Friday. The fiance & I were suppose to head out to check the Urban Bazaar at Rockwell but he got lazy so we just hung out here at home. So yeah I'm all dresses up and just stayed at home.

Don't you just love these fierce Burberry studded heels knock offs? These costs only $39.99. Of course they are made of synthetic material and got really really high heels around 4" I think. I can't wait to wear these with skinny jeans! Sorry I don't have the budget for designer shoes so cheap knock offs are great. Hehehe. Yikes! I know more shoes. I'm addicted.

I accompanied my mum last Friday and we ended up at Zara for a short shopping trip. I ended up with a pair of new black strappy platform sandals and she got this long stripes cardigan which I'm definitely going to steal from her. I saw loads of great stuff at Zara but we were strapped for time as my dad's waiting for mum (they have a party to go to) & I to meet up with friends for our Friday movie night.

Ah, another pair of shoes to add to my collection. I know that I do have a lot of shoes. I can't help it. I'm quite scared to do those shoe posts. I'm afraid to see how much shoes I've acquired.

What I wore Friday:

I changed my shoes and added a jacket for the evening. It's really cold in movie theatres, mind you. Oh and I finally got those lovely Aldo platforms that's really popular with bloggers. :) I've been lusting over those for such a long time and I was so happy that we have them here in our local Aldo shops. I also like these white wedge pair there. I'm thinking of getting them when budget permits. I know I really love shoes. I love them more than I love bags. Do you know that I usually notice a person's shoes first? I can't help it. It's like I just zone in to their feet. And like check out those great or not so great shoes! Hahaha.

Today's the fiance's dad's birthday. We had a Japanese dinner at their place. I had sushi, ebi tempura, chicken teriyaki, gindara teriyaki and friend rice. Hahaha. Yeah I do eat a lot all the time. I love food! :) Oh and I also got to watch the movie "August Rush" today. I love it! It's such a nice movie. I even cried at the end. I'm such a cry baby.

Let me tell you something. I really really want something different for my pre-nup pictures! My idea is our pictures to look something out from a fashion magazine. You know like a fashion spread? I'm not too keen on having those lovey-dovey couple pictures that you see most on pre-nup pics. Hehehehe. Also I don't also like having the same outfit or colour themed outfits with my fiance. That's too corny, IMO! Well, this afternoon my friends & I went to visit Puey Quinones. I had a cocktail dress made. It's beige, short and made out of jersey. I'm excited to see what it would look like when it's finish. We'll be having our fitting on the 22nd unfortunately I won't be here 'coz I'm going to China for a conference. So I'll just go to have my fitting when I get back. Ah! I need more designers for the gowns & dresses I'm going to have made for my pre-nups. Hahaha. This wedding thing is becoming really expensive. We have loads of stuff we want to include but we need to stick to our budget!

Note my loose clothing? Woohoo! The fiance & I are heading out to eat hotpot later after work. Hehehe. I'm going to pig out tonight you see, I simply love hotpot. My fave hotpot place is Green Maris at Greenhills. Right now they have this eat all you can hot pot special. We'll be trying it out for the first time tonight. I can't wait!!!

1, 2, buckle my shoe

I'm wearing my white tall gladiator sandals today. I think they are such a cute pair but such a nightmare to wear and take off! Good thing I've no plans on going shoe shopping today or else it would take me forever! You see you have to buckle each & every strap. These don't have zippers. Yup, you have to buckle the 10 straps!!!

We are having a sample sale at the office for a couple of weeks now. I got myself a few items for the fiance & a couple of things for myself (mostly denim pants that I made into cut off shorts and jackets). Not so much because unfortunately I'm not a sample size. The girls in charge sweet talked me into getting this white distressed leather belt today. So I kinda incorporated it into my outfit. Took the fabric belt I was wearing awhile ago and made it into a neck bow.

The fiance & I went to meet up with our event stylist/florist for our wedding. We got to exchange quite a bit of great ideas on what to do with the flowers and such. I'm so happy that we'll have pink (my ultimate fave colour) in our motif! Hehehe. You see my fiance is against using pink because he said that colour is really overused. It's a good thing that Andy (our stylist) was able to convince him to add even a little bit of pink into our wedding. Whoopee! We'll be having white & pink flowers. What kind of flowers that I still don't know.

it's just one of those days

Gah! Don't you just hate it when you feel absolutely drained? I don't know why but that's how i feel the whole day. The day is not over yet but I am absolutely tired and gloomy. Must be the weather affecting my mood. It's been raining all since yesterday and I feel gloomy as the weather. Do you ever feel that way? Having the weather dictate what you're feeling?

I'm debuting my black jodhpurs from a local brand (Folded & Hung). I have an unhealthy obsession with black trousers you see. I can't stop buying them. And of course I have to buy these to add to my over flowing closet because 1.they're black, 2. they're jodhpurs, and 3. they're cheap! Hahaha. Hey, before you start thinking that I broke my self imposed shopping ban, I got them a couple of moths ago. I completely forgot about these but I was cleaning my closet last night and chanced upon these babies so I decided to wear them today. Hahaha. ;)
