i'm in a book!

Well how cool is this!?! I'm in a book called: What I Wore Today: Fashion Remixed Online from Beijing to Berlin by Graffito Books. I've always wanted to be included in something like this or in those annual Top10 stylish people in the magazines. Yeah, I know I'm so shallow.

I love musicals. I really do! So whenever there are musicals showing I make it a point to watch it. Today I went to watch “West Side Story”. I enjoyed the show and the set was amazing! :) After the musical mum took us shopping! So yey! I got myself a pair of red plaid pants & black star elastic waisted belt from Zara TRF.

One of my fave collection for SS08 is Miu Miu’s. I just love the childlike carnival feel of the entire collection. So when I saw this look alike dress I grabbed it (I also got a white one. Hehehe).

So I wore this outfit to my dad’s awarding ceremony for his university’s anniversary celebration. I decided to leave the red bow tie at home though. :/

The party was alright. Too bad we didn't stay long to find out if we won the raffle. They were giving away pearl & diamond jewelry. My mum was getting restless at the party. :/

hybrid shoes

I love hybrid shoes. I think they are interesting. These caught my attention. I love them. Now if only I can save enough money to buy myself a pair or two next season. Hehehe.

I am sorry if I've been neglecting my blog recently. I'm quite busy with work and it seems like I'm going to be given much more work in the coming weeks. I am not complaining really. I mean I'm quite excited with my additional job. It's going to be fun but hard I'm sure. I'll give you a hint let's just say a new "concepts" will be opening real soon! ;)

topshop = love

Wah! This jacket is so pretty! I really want it! Hmmmm... I wonder if our local Topshop would carry this in their stores. I think I'll head to my trusty tailor to have one made. Tralalala.

Oh, to those asking where I got my speckled glasses/sunnies. I got them from the Greenhills tiangge. They got tons of colours available. I'm thinking of heading back and getting more sunnies!

the geek in me

Heeeee... look at my cool looking geek glasses (which is ironic because there are no glasses at all. popped the glasses out)! I got these for P150 (around US$3). These babies are sunnies but I've decided that they are better off worn like this. What do you think? I also got a hot pink with black speckles pair. That I'm going to keep as sunnies.

It seems like we are really moving into a new home next year. Whoo! A new room! I'm excited. My room right now is such a mess. It does look like a huge dumping ground of all my clothes and shoes. My dad gets mad every time he goes inside my room because it's filled with loads and loads of stuff. He'll go muttering that we (all the ladies) are all materialistic wanting to go shopping all the time. Maybe when I get my own room I'll be able to have space for all my clothes and shoes, yeah? And I'll be able to do one of those shoe & room posts. I'm so ashamed to share my room right now because it's not a room anymore. It's a very messy walk-in closet with beds. Hahahaha.

return of the comeback

First it was the Dr.Martens' boots (which until now I haven't got myself a pink pair.) Now it's the creepers turn. Looks like I need to bring out my old creepers from their boxes. I read about them being big for winter in Susie Bubble a few weeks back. Hehehe. I used to wear creepers back in 2004 when I was big on Japanese fashion (i.e. fashions you can see in old school Fruits and Kera.) This is one reason why I sometimes don't like discarding my old clothes because they come back!!! Fashion really is just a cycle. :)
