We celebrated our baby's 2nd month last Monday. Look how fast he's growing! I can't believe that he used to be so small... hehehe. Babies are just the cutest things eh?

barney the purple dinosaur

Wearing purple today to support the anti-LGBT bullying for Spirit Day. http://www.glaad.org/spiritday
WHAT IS SPIRIT DAY?

The idea behind Spirit Day, first created by teenager Brittany McMillan earlier this month, is a simple one, not dissimilar to the idea of "Spirit Week" held in many high schools, and can be summed up in three words: Everyone Rally Together.

Spirit Day honors the teenagers who had taken their own lives in recent weeks. But just as importantly, it's also a way to show the hundreds of thousands of LGBT youth who face the same pressures and bullying, that there is a vast community of people who support them.

Purple symbolizes 'spirit' on the rainbow flag, a symbol for LGBT Pride that was created by Gilbert Baker in 1978.

jumping for jumpsuits

15 said something
I reckon my outfit today look so 70's! Hahaha. Must be the print of the jumpsuit. Wearing it with a grey cardigan coz of the strong winds brought about by Typhoon Juan. Hoping that everyone is safe!

Do you guys think I need a haircut? Yes/No? I'm thinking of having my hair cut into a bob but then again maybe it would make my face look rounder than it already is. I dunno... thinking thinking...

on neutral grounds

18 said something
I've been wanting to try out the neutral trend from last season. But since I was pregnant at that time I couldn't bring myself to wear any light clothing lest I might look like a blimp! Hahaha. This is something a bit different from my usual outfits I think coz I seldom wear light coloured clothes. I usually gravitate towards black & grey clothes you see. I think I need to widen my clothing selection when I go shopping.

Ah Muji opened their very 1st store here in Manila today. I'm sure loads of people will be there tomorrow to check out all their awesome stuff. I might try to pass by one of these days to get myself a blank notebook, some pens and oh and foodstuff. From what I heard no drinks section right? That's sad. They have yummy drinks too.

Our poodle also wants to be included in the picture

fashion challenge: mismatched prints

10 said something
Remember I asked you guys before for some fashion challenges? Since now I can fit into my old clothes I've decided to start doing these challenges and answering your fashion questions as well.

Katrina's fashion challenge was to see me in mismatched prints from head to toe.

So here's my take to that challenge. Wore my tie-dye top with my new mesh floral mini skirt (a gift from my dear husband). I was running late this morning and I can't find my printed shoes, so plain black clogs will have to do. I suppose I failed this challenge coz I didn't wear mismatched prints from head to toe... I think I need redo this challenge again eh?

And answering some questions: relating to my pregnancy

How do you dress up while nursing? Most nursing tops are expensive and would look dated and the inexpensive ones are not that fashionable. - mommy chexy
I don't think I will buy clothes specifically made for nursing coz like you said they are quite expensive. I am nursing my baby right now and so far I'm dressing up just like what I used to. One reason because my baby is still just a few months old and I wouldn't bring him out of the house just yet. But if I need to nurse him next time I think my best bet would be stretch tank tops, tube tops and those tops that have deep necklines. :)

Fashion No-No's when preggy? - d a e a r
I learned this the hard way. Steer clear of loose tent like clothing! They make you look 10x bigger!

Can you stand walking for the whole day wearing heels when you're pregnant? - Zellé♥
I'm extremely clumsy so I really didn't wear much heels when I was pregnant. Was super afraid I'll slip & hurt the baby. though I did wear heels during the first few months when my tummy wasn't that big and yes I can stand walking in heels the whole day (though not those platform heels mind you - with the same reason I mentioned before)

Will your style change once you become a mom? - Ira Dy
I don't think it would. ;)

little tomboy

I miss my hats so I decided to wear one today. Paired my felt bowler hat with my oversized striped top and my mum's vintage booties! I'm super glad that I saved these pair from her 'to give away' pile! I reckon they look absolutely perfect with this outfit!  ;)

bowler hat: SM department store
oversized top: bought in Hong Kong
shorts: Mango
black booties: vintage from my mum
black satchel: Greenhills

Something major is brewing but it's a secret. No it's nothing to do with fashion or this blog for that matter. It's a personal/life thing.  One day I will tell you guys about it.

clickity clog clog

11 said something
I ordered these clogs when I was still pregnant and I tried them on as soon as I got them. But I was 9 months pregnant at that time so my feet were so bloated I my feet won't fit into these very cute clogs. Hahaha. I am super happy that my feet returned to their normal size or else I'll need to have a major shoe closet overhaul. That would make me very sad but then again that will give me a reason to go shoe shopping! Hahahaha! But yeah lucky for me I still fit into my shoes.

introducing paradigm shift

12 said something
When I saw the look book for Paradigm Shift's very first collection all I can say is WOW! I want every single piece they have.

The great people behind this up and coming brand are Karl Leuterio, Mikhael Magallanes and Jan Nicole Puentevella. What I love about the brand is that they created a totally androgynous collection. Every single item is unisex! You know me and my love for androgynous fashion! Their stuff is something you can picture the edgy kids of Tokyo & HongKong would wear. Thumbs up in my book!

Check out their awesome editorial for their very first collection too!

My outfit today was inspired by their collection. I haven't got the chance to buy from them yet but surely I'll get an item or two. ;)

leggings: Giordano Ladies

I finally got to wear my inkarlcerating boots from Soule Phenomenon today!
And I super love them to the max! I love love wedges!

a WOW tuesday

9 said something
Last Tuesday I had 2 events to go to. Lucky for me both are held in Greenbelt. I went to check out StyleBible's Barbie event first. Saw a lot of Barbie dolls decked in these wonderful outfits but silly me I wasn't able to take photos. :( I just stayed for a little while coz I'm not really keen on going to an event alone. I look like a little lost girl going around not knowing anyone (my friends are not there yet). So I decided to head over to Bizu for the Kotex WOW party.
