i'm no longer young

Yesterday as I was dressing up I realized that I've outgrown almost half of my wardrobe. I simply can't wear them anymore coz I'll look stupid. Hahaha. I think I need to start dressing my age. No more blindly following trends. I am not young anymore and thus my clothes & wardrobe should reflect that.

Trying out the 60's housewife ladylike trend. Very Stepford Wives! I think this look is growing on me as I am indeed a wife (but not really a housewife. Well, I don't know how to cook nor bake. I don't clean and I don't have a greenthumb.) Hahaha. Kinda liking the hourglass silhouette. Hmmm... though I don't think I'll go pair these type of dresses with kitten heels coz I am sure they would look awkward on me. I'm no Tall Ting, in fact I'm quite vertically challenged. So yeah sky high platforms are the way to go!

Had a video shoot for some thing really cool! Can't say for what yet coz they haven't launched it to the market. ;) So keep a look out for what it is.

Baby stuff shopping for the little boy. He is turning 6 months soon and will start eating solids. Sniff sniff sniff. My baby is growing so fast. It's just like yesterday that he was so tiny & fragile. We went looking for a highchair for him but didn't see any that we think is sturdy enough for a little boy. So the search is still on.

How did you spend your Valentine's Day? The husband and I don't really celebrate Valentine's. The truth is we are just not the type of people who celebrate anything. But we did eat out last night 'coz we got invited by my parents. The reason? We do not have a cook at home at the moment. And no one in my family knows how to cook. Sad but true.

I'm wearing something comfy & casual. Nothing to be dressed up for coz we are just going to be eating at a small restaurant. Not really the fine dining kind. I'm starting to embrace the pale pastel palette for spring/summer but then again... I am sure I will be wearing my usual black outfit when I run out of pastel/neutral coloured clothes.

As you may have noticed I've been wearing trousers for the past few days. I really did miss wearing pants and super glad that I still fit into my old pairs. Don't you just hate it when you gain weight and need to give-away your beloved clothes coz they don't fit you anymore?

Just recently discovered Oxygen and I am in love! Hahaha. I don't really go to malls that much so I don't really get to check out our local stores. I went in Oxygen's shop awhile ago and I wonder why have I discover them just now? I so wanna take home all their clothes! Unfortunately with my limited budget I can't but I did get a pair of jeans. Can't wait to wear them out!!!

I would like to say thank you all for your birthday greetings. You guys made me feel loved. 

Just a laid back outfit for today. Let me tell you something... aside for my obsessive love for lace-ups, I also have an obsession with trousers. I think I have about a dozen or so pairs in my closet. Though I noticed that they are mostly black. I reckon I need to start broadening my wardrobe colour choices. Well, this green pair is one of my recent buys. I got these from SM department store. I swear I so love shopping in department stores! They have great stuff in really affordable prices.

We saw Janet Jackson's “Number Ones: Up Close and Personal World Tour” concert last night and all I can say is it was FANTASTIC! Totally enjoyed the whole show. Janet Jackson is such a performer. Love her!!!

I'm wearing my Zara jodhpurs I got in 2008. I think jodhpurs and harem pants have moved from being a trend into something classic pants silhouette. Paired it with a black lace top for a sexy touch and a platform lace-up booties to finish the whole look.
