What I did last Friday: Bloggers United

0 said something
When Melai emailed me asking if I would like to participate on their bloggers event. I immediately said yes! And boy! Was I glad that I did. The Bloggers United event is one of the ultra fun event I ever attended. It was great fun meeting and chatting with all my blogger friends and of course I got to meet some of my readers too! Another thing was I was able to sell my pre-loved clothes & shoes to fellow fashion lovers like myself. I brought about 60 pairs of shoes and 2 luggage full of clothes plus my old Japanese magazines. Unfortunately only a handfull bought the magazines. Hahaha.

I cannot wait for the next one. I'll be more organize for the 2nd one for sure. I wasn't able to buy anything at the bazaar save for an awesome rib necklace from OS! Super love it Paul! ;)

p.s. I know my photos aren't as pretty as some of the other bloggers. Hahaha. I have zero photography skills.

What I brought... My pre-loved shoes for sale.

The Bloggers United bazaar was a huge succes! I'll do a separate post regarding that. :) So I'll just do an outfit post first. Of course I'm in my usual black & grey colour palette. I decided to wear flats 'coz I'll know I'll be standing the whole day. Though my feet still died. Hahahaha. Piled on random necklaces and a leather rosette bracelet to add some detail to my outfit.

I'll be seeing you at the Bloggers United: An Interactive Shopping Affair

0 said something

Join me and other notable style, fashion and beauty bloggers will open up their closets to sell their pre-loved clothes and other goods in BLOGGERS UNITED: An Interactive Shopping Affair on May 27, 2011 at the 3nd - 33rd floor of The Lounge in Malayan Plaza Hotel. This event will be the very first bloggers bazaar in the country where bloggers and their readers/followers can get the chance to meet, chat and interact with each other outside their computer screens.

Blogging has proven to be a very formidable part of the new media, empowering individuals and giving them voice in this emerging high tech word. BLOGGERS UNITED believes that such power can also be wielded for the good of others. With this in mind, part of the proceeds from this event will go to the K.I.D.S. FOUNDATION to assist the organization in “helping children from all walks of life enjoy their rights and experience growth and development through God-centered activities that promote fun and enjoyment.”

Entrance fee is P100 but if you bring donations of medicines/school supplies/books for the kids of K.I.D.S. Foundation, you can get in for only P50.

Oxfords Tuesdays: That 50's girl

0 said something
My peg for today is the Rock 'n' Roll 50's. What says 50's more than a full skirt & saddle shoes?!? I love the cinched waist and overly comfy factor of the skirt. Decided to pair the skirt with a sleeveless button down top and of course my Payless saddle shoes! I've been lemming for a pair for ages and I was super happy when I saw them being sold in Payless. So of course I've gotta buy myself a pair even though the husband says they're ugly. Hahahaha.

Couldn't resist not to twirl...

passport smashport

We went to the DFA awhile ago to get the little boy his very own passport. I love how they have a courtesy lane for babies/toddlers. I don't think a lot of people know about that. So when you do go to the DFA and have a toddler in tow be sure to ask for the courtesy lane. We were done in like just 20 mins. or so. No need to wait in long queues! I can't wait to get Eli's passport! It means I can go out of the country with the little boy. :) We're planning to bring him to Hong Kong Disneyland when he turns 1. Maybe we should go to Singapore too. Universal Studios!!! Would you believe that I haven't been back to Singapore for maybe around 15 years?!?
